The Story Behind the Painting

Between Two Suns is a story about the outer and the inner sun — about the world that constantly draws us outward, and the quiet light within ourselves that we sometimes forget.

Looking into the painting feels like entering a magical garden where dreams meet reality and the familiar laws of nature no longer apply. The golden lotus flowers seem to radiate their own light, becoming symbols of spiritual purity, rebirth and inner strength. Behind them, a luminous golden circle resembles a sun or moon — a silent observer of the cosmos, watching over the harmony of this mysterious garden.

Ethereal water creatures move around the flowers, reminding us of the ever-changing nature of life and of our ability to discover beauty where we least expect it. Delicate spider webs stretch across the composition, symbolising how deeply everything is connected — how every thought, feeling and action leaves its trace upon the larger canvas of the universe.

The intense reds and deep blues create a powerful dialogue between opposing forces: passion and peace, chaos and order. They do not compete. They exist together, creating balance.

And then there are the hands — both giving and reaching to receive. They remind us that this magical world is not separate from our own. It is a reflection of the world we carry within.

Yet this is only my story behind the painting. The true power of art begins when the viewer discovers something of their own within it — a feeling, a memory, perhaps even a tear.
